Please wait to come to team camp until the entire meet--all of the boys and girls races (all classes)--has been completed. Before each race, there might be a team cheer, but we ask that you give some distance from the starting area and let the competing athletes come to you.

**PARKING will require extra time to allow for shuttle ride**
Spectators should plan to arrive at the shuttle parking lot at least 60-90 minutes prior to the start of the race(s) they wish to see, as the wait can be very long.

Many choose to park in the neighborhood south of the golf course and walk to the course.

Please be mindful of where you and your children are during the races: "Instruct spectators from your school to stay behind the fences in order that all runners will have a fair opportunity to do their best. Spectator interference may result in the disqualification of a team or individual."

*** Please keep your children with you. Today is not a good day to go golf ball hunting. :) ***

Note: there are very few "restricted" areas at this meet with the exception fo the finish corral, although the host has requested that spectators avoid "tent city" (team camps). Spectators and familes, please give the athletes some space prior to the race. Leading up to the races, please find places around the course to cheer and avoid team camp/tent city.

Cameras (updated 2024): "Spectators may bring cameras, including cell phones, that are basic point and shoot, consumer-grade cameras without detachable lenses. Accessories such as monopods, selfie sticks, tripods, GoPro mounts and other attachments are not allowed. Spectator photography locations are limited to the spectator seating area. Spectators must be respectful of and not impede other spectators while photographing the event." Small DSLRs should be fine (DIY), just not the big professional cameras/lenses.

DRESS FOR ALL WEATHER.
Because there are no indoor facilities, the team tent will be reserved for athletes and coaches.

*****

Dinner: We will watch both Class A races, stay for awards, and then head out of town and away from the crowds to get some food.
We estimate to arrive at the dinner location around 5:30 P.M., but we can send a text as we leave the State event location.
Five Guys: 7814 Main St, Maple Grove, MN 55369.

Vans will return to the Swansons' house afterwards. Those riding in the vans should text their parents with timing updates.
Allow time for us to stop for gas and for athletes to help clean the paint off the vans. :)
